Ray Lovato

Ray Lovato loves writing pulp fiction.  He received his English degree from St. Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois where he was editor and columnist for the university newspaper. He later moved to Palm Springs, California where he built a fifty-nine room luxury resort and was its C. E. O. and marketing and advertising manager. He also wrote a monthly tourism column for the Desert Sun newspaper. While in Palm Springs, he founded and was president of the Desert Screen Writers Guild.

On a six-hour flight from Chicago to St. Martin, he created Doc Atlas, a homage to the great pulp legend Doc Savage. He presented it as a birthday gift to his best friend author Michael A. Black. Mike then wrote MELODY OF VENGEANCE, the first Doc Atlas novel as a tribute to the Pulp Age of Heroes. Mike has since gone on to take Doc Atlas to great heights. Ray currently resides in Anthem, Arizona where he enjoys gorgeous sunsets and fantastic weather. His long-time hobbies include photography and collecting old books. His real passion is traveling the world with his inspiration, his lovely wife, Susan.
